Even before I was a new mum, I found myself Googling phrases and words to give me some kind of motivation to carry on with my day.
The only difference of before baby and after, is that I am doing this in the bathroom at home verses the one at work.
So if you ever have Shawshanked yourself into the bathroom to escape for a moment to find strength in anyway you can, I hope these quotes I found inspiring, aid your search for sanity too.
Those who know me, know my deep affection for the Willy, Nilly, Silly Old Bear. My childhood memories are filled with his adored and aged innocent ponderings, that somehow were wise beyond compare.
I try to take his carefree and joyful approach to life. Which to some, I most definitely can be more on the immature side at the best of times, but hey. . . “The things that make me different, are the things that make me, me.”
This was the kick in the pants that I needed to read to start this blog. Storytelling is such an ancient and beloved form of communication and connection. I honestly am overwhelmed with the bonds I have created on our exposition on Finding Baby Grantham. I just hope I continue to earn them here on Gin and Juice[box]. Xo
